Age Concern celebrate the Spanish traditional Christmas celebrations on January 6th every year at the Day Centre and January 2018 was no exception.

Many of our beneficiaries enjoyed a superb buffet specially prepared by a local bakery, cakes, crackers and cava.

Entertainment was provided by a female choir, Dawn Chorus, who sang favourite Christmas carols followed by some popular songs. The beneficiaries all joined in and sang with great gusto.
Our valuable volunteers waited on the tables all afternoon but still found time to have some fun also.
The fabulous raffle prize of a food hamper, filled to the brink with Christmas fair, was kindly donated by the volunteers from our charity shop in Torrevieja.
