What a smash hit the Age Concern Annual Fundraising Christmas Fair it was on Saturday the 30thNovember at their Day Centre in La Siesta. The aim of this Annual event is to raise money enabling Age Concern to keep all their services, vehicles and equipment in tip top condition so that the vulnerable in our area can live their lives in good health, peace and tranquillity. The enormous amount raised on this day was 2,647.04 euros for which we thank each and every visitor for spending so generously. Christmas fair 2019

Three Kings 2020

Age Concern celebrate the Spanish traditional Christmas celebrations on January 6th every year at the Day Centre and January 2020 was no exception.

Fun Trivia Quiz- Friday 21 February 2020

On Friday 21st February at Friends cafe in Los Montesinos at the Age Concern Fun Quiz night. Over 50 of their volunteers and their friends enjoyed the trivia quiz, almost all managed to identify the people in the picture round. We had a lot of fun with the 3 teams of winners who had to get through the tie-break. A superb buffet was much appreciated by everyone then it was onto Play Your Cards Right. This section of the evening proved to be an hour of sheer laughter with only one person managing to complete the two rows of cards. It was fabulous to see so many people enjoying such a sociable evening and it is hoped to hold another such event in the autumn

MURDER MYSTERY EVENING - FRIDAY 6 NOVEMBER

Remember , Remember the 6^th November

Murder Mystery Evening- Friday 6^th November

The fantastic event at The Club in Quesada that was supposed to be held Friday 27^th March 2020,

is now being held on the 6^th November again at the Club in Quesada.

If you have tickets for the 27^th March, these will be still valid for the 6th November.

The Evening has proved to be extremely popular, so no more tickets are available.

In order to comply with the new social distancing regulations, it is not possible to have a Buffet. So The Club have chosen an excellent Menu selection, within the Ticket price.

So the Event runs smoothly and social distancing is a priority, please email or ring using the attached menu selection, your party name , size of party and guests menu choice. Desserts will be available on the night but are not included in the ticket price.

As social distancing rules with regard to tables must be adhered to, your party may be part of another friendship group.

Strict safety precautions will be followed at all times.
