Age Concern Costa Blanca Sur is a nonprofit making charity registered with the Generalitat Valenciana, in 1998, charity Number 6301, CIF Number G07894322).The geographical area covers from south of the City of Alicante down to the Murcia border and inland to Vega Baja.
Age Concern in Spain encourages people from other countries to integrate with the Spanish people and seek to establish relationships with Spanish associations that work for the benefit of older people
Our aim is to promote the well being of all older people and help to make life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
Through our net work of volunteer workers we aim to meet the needs of whoever calls on us, whether for friendship and support, counselling, information and advice.

Age Concern Vehicles

Our two vehicles, operate out of our Day Centre. Their primary use is to collect our beneficiaries from their homes, to visit the Day Centre for our many daily activities, and then take them home.
Both vehicles have been specially adapted to allow for ease of embarking and disembarking of people with reduced mobility and their mobility aids.
A huge team of volunteer drivers daily wend their way, throughout our catchment area of Costa Blanca South, collecting our beneficiaries ensuring their safety at all times. They join in all the banter and stories that are told giving the passengers not only a secure way of transport but allowing them to enjoy a social life.
The secondary function of our vehicles and drivers is to fulfil a collection of clothes and household items, being donated, all of which goes to stock our charity shops.
Our Citroen Jumper Mini bus, which was purchased solely by public donations, has been adapted to facilitate the carriage of wheelchairs and miscellaneous mobility aids.
